The right floor plan is the most significant part of the home-building journey. And, the "right" plan varies from family to family. Every family has different needs and priorities and accordingly each floor plan is designed. Thus, there is no fixed floor plan that would suit all.
The broad space layout may be the same. However, the minor details would be different, for instance, some may want more storage areas in their homes, and others may want more spacious seating areas.
So, to start with, the architect team at Prithu will first take a design brief from you so that the team understands your requirements. Based on the design brief, the architect prepares a floor plan and shares it with the clients for feedback. This step generally takes us 10-14 days.
Once the first draft of the floor plan is made, we prefer to present it to the owner's family over video call or in-person meeting rather than sending it by email. This helps us to explain the thought behind the floor plan better and we can understand your reactions and views better.
Once the first draft of the floor plan is presented, generally the family gives us feedback in 2-3 days. Based on the feedback, we update the floor plan and reshare it with the clients for further feedback. The process is iterated 2-3 more times before we have the final floor plan. Generally, through this process, a floor plan specifically for the family is ready in 30-45 days. In case the design brief is changed, then the process re-starts from the beginning.
Every home we build is custom designed based on the repairments of the current owners. Hence, whenever you see a floor plan of any of our existing or old homes, it is custom-made for that family. It may not be the perfect plan for you, but it is perfect for the family living in that home.
