Flushed skirting in the wall (with a groove) in rooms with marble flooring

In marble flooring, skirting can be done in two ways:

1. Skirting protrudes from wall

2. Skirting is flushed inside the wall and a groove is created in plaster above the skirting

We recommend flushing the skirting inside the wall due to following reasons:

1. Dust accumulates on top of protruding skirting. It does not in this case.

2. Furniture when kept against the wall will have a gap behind (at the wall junction) due to the protruding skirting

3. Slightly more carpet area

4. Better aesthetic

Its impact of builder is increase in quantity of flooring material and increase in project time
