Coming back to settle in their parents home after serving in public life at senior most levels in the Indian government sectors , the clients are 3 siblings now approaching their retirement age. They wanted to embrace the memories of yester years of living together as a family with parents , they planned to make this a multifamily apartment for each of their owns family now. The overall shell remains the same here , however the 3 separate unit, one on each level was custom designed as per each families needs. The overall floor plate areas remains the same. However the combination of bedrooms changes from 3 to 4 as you go up. Further an interesting element, they have planned a staff quarter on respective floor which enables to have attached quarters for staff to live through during the retirement years. The outer shell of the building is given an eclectic European look to brick cladding with thick mouldings balanced with subtle tones of granite and tiles. A corner plot adds to the beauty of space bringing in ample daylight inside through the large windows, especially the corner ones around the street. Another eye arching feature is the duplex staircase which interconnects the second floor with terrace , a highlight in here. High ceiling heights are further accentuated with clean false ceiling and edge mouldings adding to the beauty of large spaces as one climbs from one floor to another.
